The main differences between CWDM and DWDM.

2.CWDM modulated laser using laser cooling, and DWDM uses cooled laser. Tuning by laser cooling temperatures, non-cooled laser electronic tuning. Due to a very wide wavelength section temperature distribution is not uniform, so temperature tuning is very difficult to implement, cost is very high. CWDM to avoid this difficulty, thus significantly reduces the cost, the entire CWDM system cost only 30% DWDM.
